The Daily Shouter is a newspaper that features inKnife Edge, modelled after PlayBoy Magizine. It was said to be the most popular newspaper in the country. Throughout the book it covers many stories including the death of Andrew Dorn the attack of Cara Imega. Minerva Hadley Works for the newspaper, they accepted her mainly because of her good family conections. She helped to write the Andrew Dorn Article. Minerva also told the information about Jude McGregor's to her sister, however this was never found out by the newspaper.
In the book Knife Edge pages from the paper mark the different sections of the novel and the stories shown are often included in the following chapters. It also gives general stories that tell you about the rest of the noughts and crosses world, as well as the opinions on noughts and how they are treated.
